Thank you, Como Foundation!

When COVID-19 hit, Max Cucchiella and his wife, Sarah Veinot, along with their seven children, gathered around the kitchen table in their Port Credit home to help their community. They started making non-medical masks with a clear vinyl insert in the centre, so that those who are deaf or hard of hearing and rely on lip-reading could rejoin the conversation during COVID-19.
Demand took off and the family launched the Como Foundation, which has announced a $5 million gift to Trillium Health Partners Foundation with proceeds from mask sales. The generous donation will be used to support the redevelopment and expansion of Mississauga Hospital. Read the full story here.

Purchase a COVID-19 Lip Reading Mask

When you purchase a mask from the Como Foundation, you are helping Trillium Health Partners.
Each mask includes a clear vinyl insert, so that those who lip-read are not excluded from the conversation while masks remain mandatory during COVID-19.
Purchase your lip reading mask today and proceeds will help support the much needed redevelopment and expansion of THP’s Mississauga Hospital site.
