For the past few months, while our frontline health care teams have been responding to COVID-19, scientists at Trillium Health Partners’ research arm, the Institute for Better Health (IBH), have also been hard at work collaborating on a number of research activities pertaining to the study of COVID-19.
Caroline Riseboro, President and CEO of Trillium Health Partners Foundation, recently spoke to Dr. Laura Rosella, a scientist at the Institute for Better Health, about the steps being taken to reopen our province and what the next few months will look like for our city and the broader community.
Thank you for your continued support of Trillium Health Partners. Your generosity is making a difference in the lives of our patients while supporting the efforts of our health care providers and researchers.

About the Institute for Better Health (IBH)
Trillium Health Partners established IBH in 2014 to help create a new kind of health care for a healthier community. IBH has a very specific and practical mandate for health-system innovation and population health, rapidly attracting some of the best minds in the field. IBH also supports the advancement of research work across the hospital – all with the intention of improving health and transforming care.
In addition to the research being done throughout the hospital in primary care, medical devices, cardiology and new drug treatments to name a few, IBH has also been collaborating on a number of COVID-19 related projects, including the development of the modelling that is informing the government’s COVID-19 response.
