After a competitive recruitment process, Shannon Van Rassel has accepted the role of Senior Vice President Strategy, Brand, Marketing & Communications at Trillium Health Partners Foundation, effective February 19, 2019.
Shannon joins us from Scotiabank where she served as Vice President, Retail Customer Engagement. Here she held a critical leadership role in delivering revenue growth, improved customer retention and best-in-class employee satisfaction. Shannon was instrumental in leading various cross-functional teams to create and implement analytics, disciplines and processes to drive optimization at the customer level.
Over the past two decades, Shannon has developed marketing campaigns across 150 countries globally; including multi-channel campaigns with mass, digital and targeted tactics. Shannon has earned a reputation as a strong leader with multi-sector experience in top tier organizations in Telecom, Technology, Financial Services and Health Care – in particular serving as Vice President, Direct Marketing at SickKids Foundation.
In this role, Shannon will be the Executive Lead for the Strategy, Project & Partnerships and Brand, Marketing & Communications segments of the Foundation. Shannon will partner with THP to shape and deploy strategies to engage and inspire our diverse communities in support of the hospital’s 10-year strategic plan. This includes working jointly with the hospital to build the THP Brand from concept to high-level awareness throughout our community. She will also be instrumental in the development of partnerships that generate revenue in support of THP’s mission, and advancement of THP Foundation’s digital and analytics strategies to enable fundraising growth. These efforts will be vital to the success of our comprehensive fundraising campaign.
